1.DRIVING LICENSE:
A valid driving license held for at least one year from the country of residence or an international Driving Permit is required.

All customers must have been licensed to drive for at least one year at the time of rental. A national license must be presented at the time of rental.
An international driving permit (IDP) is also required if the national driving license is not in Roman alphabet. An IDP is recommended for translation purposes and may only be used in conjunction with a National driver’s license.
2.DRIVER’S AGE: minimum 21 years of age
The minimum age for rentals in Kastri Holidays is 25 years of age for groups C,D,G and G1 and 21 years of age for groups A, B and B1.
Additional Drivers / Operators
Standard driver’s license and age policies apply. There is no limit to the number of additional drivers. Additional drivers option is EURO 3 per day.
3.MINIMUM RENTAL:   ONE (1) day. Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate.
4.TRAFFIC FINES: All traffic fines resulting from violation of the Greek traffic law are for renter’s account
5.DEPOSITS: A cash deposit estimated on rental with a minimum of 25% of the total cost of rental. No deposit is required from credit cards holders.
6. INSURANCE: All Kastri Holidays vehicles are insured:
against liability to third parties (excluding driver and passengers) for death, injury up to 300.000€.
material damages to third parties (excluding the Kastri Holidays vehicle) up to 100,000 €.
for fire for the Kastri Holidays vehicle  the driver, however, is responsible for collision damage to the Kastri Holidays rented vehicle up to its value.
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (C.D.W.):
This waiver is included in the car rental. It protects the customer against the cost of repairing or replacing the Kastri Holidays vehicle if damaged during the rental period,provided also that the traffic laws were not contravened.
In case of fire, theft or accident there is an unwaiverable excess of EURO 450  €.
Damages to tires, windshield, mirrors, windows and underneath the vehicle is not covered by the C.D.W insurance cover.
Note: If C.D.W is declined, the customer will be responsible for damage to the Kastri Holidays car up to the full value of the vehicle.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) to driver and passengers is usually offered as an optional insurance at EURO 3 per day.
Insurance for tyres: Insurance for vehicle tyres is usually offered as an optional insurance at EURO 1,5 per day.
Under Carriage Insurance: Under carriage insurance is usually offered as an optional insurance at EURO 3 per day.

7. Full Insurance: 
Full Insurance (nil excess) can be obtained at EURO 7 per day for groups A, B, and at EURO 8 per day for groups C, D, F and F1. Kastri Holidays will be responsible for damage to your rental car caused by fire, theft or accident even if such damage is not covered by manufacturer’s warranty, or Collision Damage Waiver, and for damage resulting from you or a passenger’s negligence.
8. TAXES: All rates are subject to 16% VAT
9. GASOLINE: The consumption is payable by the renter.
Unleaded type fuel is to be used on Kastri Holidays vehicles
10. DELIVERY – COLLECTION: Free to all Kastri Holidays stations on KOS ISLAND.

To Hotels in town, 15  €. To KOS airport , Free for weekly reservations, 15 EURO for working hours and 30 EURO for “afterhours” (21:00 -08:00).

11. EQUIPMENT: Baby / child (up to 3 years old) seat, FREE
12. FERRYING THE CAR: An advanced written authorization from Kastri Holidays is required.
13. ACROSS THE BORDER RENTAL: An advanced written authorization from Kastri Holidays is required.
